SSB Constable GD Sports Quota 2026 — 404 Posts, 10th Pass, No Written Exam, Apply by June 7

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released notification for 404 Constable (General Duty) posts under Sports Quota. This is a rare opportunity where selection is based entirely on sports achievements — no written exam.

Who can apply: Male and female sportspersons who have represented their state, university, or India at recognized national/international sports competitions in the last 2 years. You must have valid sports certificates from recognized sports federations.

Selection process: No written examination. Selection is based on (1) evaluation of sports achievements and certificates, (2) Field Trials in your sport, (3) Physical Standard Test (height and weight), and (4) Medical examination. Final merit is prepared sport-wise.

Sports disciplines: Archery, Athletics (track and field), Boxing, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Wushu. Each sport has separate vacancy allocation.

How to apply: Visit recruitment.ssb.gov.in → Register → Fill application form → Upload photo, signature, educational certificates, and sports achievement certificates → Pay ₹100 fee (if applicable) → Submit before June 7.
