Indian Air Force Civilian Recruitment 2026 — 47 LDC, Typist & Driver Posts, Apply from May 2

The Indian Air Force has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 inviting applications for 47 Group C civilian posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, and Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver. Applications can be sent by post starting May 2, 2026, with the last date being 30 days from publication — approximately June 1, 2026.

These posts are spread across IAF commands nationwide — HQ Maintenance Command, Training Command, Central Air Command, Western Air Command, Eastern Air Command, South Western Air Command, Southern Air Command, and Independent Units. Posting will be at Air Force stations across India.

Educational qualification for LDC and Hindi Typist is 12th pass from a recognized board with typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on computer. For Driver posts, candidates need a valid heavy or light vehicle driving license with minimum 2 years of driving experience. Age limit: 18-25 years with standard relaxation for reserved categories.

This is an offline application — candidates must send their application by post to the concerned Air Force Station or Unit address mentioned in the notification.
